• Orlando City had their five-game undefeated run in league play put to an end in a 2-0 defeat by the Montréal Impact on Saturday evening. City had also won in a penalty shootout in the U.S. Open Cup at midweek before the league loss.
• The Rapids had their current winless run extended to four games in league play in their 1-1 draw with FC Dallas on Friday evening at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. The Rapids have won once in their last 10 league games, with a 1-3-6 record over that span.
• Colorado’s Dillon Serna scored his second goal of the season – his first since April 19 – in netting the lone goal in the FCD draw.
