Two Western Conference clubs looking to reverse recent skids meet on Viernes de Fútbol when the Colorado Rapids take on FC Dallas for a third time this season at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. The Rapids have won just once in their last nine matches, winless in their last three games, after a scoreless draw with Real Salt Lake in their last league game. FC Dallas are concluding their five-game road swing riding a five-game winless streak, following their 3-0 defeat at Seattle Sounders FC in their last league game.
  • The Rapids saw their winless streak extended to three games with their second shutout in that time in their last match, a scoreless draw with Real Salt Lake on June 7 at Rio Tinto Stadium.

  • The Rapids have won just one of their last five home matches against FCD. The Rapids’ win in the first meeting this year was their first in Frisco since 2012, and ended a three-game FCD winning streak in the series.
