ROSARIO.- Rosario Central , escolta invicto con 18 unidades, recibirá a San Martín de San Juan en busca un triunfo que lo ubique otra vez en la punta de la tabla, a la espera de un tropiezo del líder Boca Juniors (20 puntos), que el domingo recibirá a Nueva Chicago, por la novena fecha del torneo de Primera División.
El canalla está invicto, pero llega con tres empates en cadena, y tratará de volver al triunfo frente a San Martín a partir de las 18.10, con Silvio Trucco como juez principal. El conjunto de Eduardo Coudet tendrá tres variantes: Víctor Salazar por Elías Gómez, Yeimar Gómez Andrade por Jonathan Ferrari y Damián Musto por José Luis Fernández. San Lorenzo de Almagro , aún herido por la derrota de la semana pasada ante River que lo relegó de la cima, recibirá a Independiente , que suele potenciar su rendimiento de visitante, en uno de los cinco partidos que darán continuidad a la novena fecha del torneo de Primera División. Se enfrentar desde las 20.30, con el arbitraje de Diego Abal.
El Ciclón, que viene de perder con River como visitante, se enfrentará en el Bajo Flores con Independiente, que contará con el regreso de Federico Mancuello tras una lesión y la reaparición como titular de Cristian Tula. El conjunto de Edgardo Bauza, que el próximo jueves se jugará su clasificación a octavos de final de la Copa Libertadores en San Pablo ante Corinthians, presentará de todos modos una formación compuesta por habituales titulares, con los regresos de Leandro Romagnoli, Néstor Ortigoza y Héctor Villalba por Pablo Barrientos, Facundo Quignón y Franco Mussis.

LA PLATA.- Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata , que obtuvo un punto de los últimos nueve, será local ante Aldosivi de Mar del Plata , que suma cinco fechas sin ser vencido, en uno de los compromisos a jugarse en la continuidad de la novena fecha del torneo de Primera División. El cotejo se disputará en La Plata, desde las 17.10 y con arbitraje de Darío Herrera.
El conjunto de Pedro Troglio presentará los mismos nombres que empataron con Independiente en la última fecha, mientras que en Aldosivi, que ganó sus últimos dos partidos, los cambios serán Ismael Quilez por Gastón Díaz, Guillermo Ortiz por Matías Lequi y Martín Rivero por Alejandro Capurro

Jugarán en Avellaneda a las 20.15, con arbitraje de Diego Ceballos.

Guaraní se entrenó esta mañana con la mira puesta en Atlético Tucumán con la idea de dejar atrás la derrota en Campana frente a Villa Dálmine el último fin de semana.
La idea de Bianco es sobrepasar el traspié que le cortó una racha positiva de cinco juegos sin derrotas y tres victorias en fila.
Para eso, el DT dispuso de muchos ejercicios con el balón y sobre todo en el área rival en lo que se comprende en estrictamente marcar las oportunidades.
Bianco había dicho tras la derrota en Campana por 1 a 0 que la misma se dio en gran parte por no poder aprovechar el momento del partido cuando en la parte inicial La Franja había sido superior a su rival.
El sábado a las 19 15 hay un duelo importante contra un rival que llega afilado como el tucumano y será otra prueba de carácter que deberá dar el conjunto de Villa Sarita.

En la antesala de su primera presentación en Gualeguaychú, Juventud Unida realizó el habitual ensayo formal de fútbol y su director técnico Norberto Acosta paró el equipo para enfrentar a Ferro Carril Oeste, correspondiente a la décima fecha del Torneo Nacional. Se realizaron dos tiempos de 30 minutos y el 11 titular que arrancó la práctica no tuvo modificaciones respecto del que empató sin goles el último domingo ante Central Córdoba de Santiago del Estero. El entrenamiento culminó 2 a 2 en el estadio de Los Eucaliptos, con goles de Neri Bandiera y Fernando Zampedri para el equipo principal y Fernando Araujo, en dos ocasiones, para el alternativo. Posteriormente, el DT probó en la última línea con Patricio Vega, Juan Sánchez y Jonathan Medina por Daián Vocos, Matías Marchesini y Leonardo Vitale, respectivamente. Mientras tanto siguen las obras para la presentación del sábado a las 15 ante el Verdolaga. El encuentro será arbitrado por Alejandro Castro.La cuenta regresiva para el partido ante el rival con mayor historial en la B Nacional está en marcha. Cada vez falta menos para que la pelota comience a rodar en la cancha de Juventud Unida. El sábado será la primera presentación en casa, y para ir acostumbrándose al terreno de juego, el habitual partido entre los posibles titulares y suplentes se desarrolló el miércoles en la cancha principal.

A high-powered matchup in the Western Conference is ahead on Saturday evening when the San Jose Earthquakes play host to Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Avaya Stadium. The Quakes saw their two-game winning streak come to an end with their first loss in their new home last weekend, a 1-0 defeat by Real Salt Lake. Whitecaps FC lead the West and the MLS overall table, now undefeated in their last five matches following a 2-2 home with Columbus Crew SC on Wednesday evening at BC Place.

The MLS Cup finalists just two seasons ago, Sporting Kansas City and Real Salt Lake meet for the only time during the league campaign when the clubs clash Saturday evening at Sporting Park. SKC have won back-to-back matches, their last win an historic comeback in stoppage time to take a 3-2 home triumph against Philadelphia Union last Sunday. Philadelphia Union and New York City FC meet in the front end of their home-and-home series over the next five days when the clubs meet for the first time ever, Saturday afternoon at PPL Park. Union enter the match still looking for a first win on the season, losing their third match in a row last weekend in heartbreaking fashion in a late 3-2 comeback defeat by Sporting Kansas City.
