Philadelphia Union and New York City FC meet in the front end of their home-and-home series over the next five days when the clubs meet for the first time ever, Saturday afternoon at PPL Park. Union enter the match still looking for a first win on the season, losing their third match in a row last weekend in heartbreaking fashion in a late 3-2 comeback defeat by Sporting Kansas City. • New York City FC return to action following a weekend off, their last match a 1-0 loss to Sporting Kansas City at Yankee Stadium on March 28, the club’s first defeat in their MLS history.
