The Montréal Impact and Orlando City SC meet for the second time this season in a key Eastern Conference clash for both clubs on Saturday evening at Stade Saputo. The Impact saw their two-game winning run put to an end last weekend, dropping a 3-1 decision to New York City FC on the road. Orlando City have pulled themselves back into a playoff position and to the .500 mark overall, riding a five-game undefeated streak following their 1-0 home win vs. East leaders D.C. United last Sunday at the Citrus Bowl.
  • The Impact had their two-game winning run in league play put to an end last weekend, dropping a 3-1 decision at New York City FC at Yankee Stadium.
  • Orlando City SC have won back-to-back games for the first time ever in MLS, and extended their current undefeated run to five games, following their 1-0 win against D.C. United on Sunday evening at the Citrus Bowl.
  • Kaká scored his seventh goal of the season – tied for third in the MLS Golden Boot standings – netting the only goal in the win vs. D.C. United, putting in a rebound of his own saved penalty kick. Four of Kaká’s seven MLS goals have come directly from penalty kicks, with another from a free kick.
  • The teams are meeting for the second time this season. Ignacio Piatti and Jack McInerney staked the Impact to a lead before the game was a half-hour old, but Pedro Ribeiro and Kaká answered back with goals a minute apart in the first half to leave the teams in a 2-2 draw March 14 at Olympic Stadium.

  • The lead was in the 27th minute. Jack McInerney chased Orlando City defender Seb Hines, who tried to head back a long ball, but McInerney reached the ball before a City teammate. Seeing Ricketts out of position, McInerney looped the ball high over Ricketts and into the empty net.
